Halden Architects
An editorial portfolio that lets buildings breathe — big images, quiet type, and no carousel in sight.
Studio concept — a self-initiated brief, not a client engagement.

(01)The challenge
Architects are judged on restraint, yet their sites are often loud: sliders, pop-ups, auto-play. Halden wanted a site that behaves the way their buildings do — calm, precise and honest about materials.
(02)The approach
- 01
A project index you can sort by typology, year and place, readable as a list or browsable as a grid.
- 02
Long-form case pages with drawings, plans and photography set on a strict twelve-column rhythm.
- 03
Image delivery tuned per breakpoint so full-bleed photography never costs the visitor a slow page.
(03) The outcome
A concept portfolio with an editorial system the team can extend themselves, one project template at a time.
